Your application is sent to two CIMA Fellows, who complete the assessments on a voluntary basis. Applications are not assessed by CIMA staff. The assessors will approve your application if they believe you have gained the necessary experience.
If the assessors do not approve your application they will advise why, and let us know if additional information or experience is needed.
Once you have submitted a completed application we will send you an acknowledgment. We will contact you with the assessors decision as soon as possible. A decision should be communicated to you within eight weeks, often much sooner, but on rare occasion this can take longer.
If your application is initially unsuccessful, you will not be required to pay the application fee again.
