The future is now - Transparency in government performance

This new briefing highlights developments and challenges for the public sector, and assesses the future impact of growing public and stakeholder demand for clearer information on performance from government.

The report presents case studies from the City of Seoul and the City of New York and some innovative approaches to improving transparency with citizens.

It emphasises best practices emerging today in major cities across the globe, where government leaders in collaboration with finance, are setting the standards for excellence.

The report also highlights top-rated government reporting, with a focus on key performance indicators (KPIs).

I firmly believe that the most important feature of spending the people’s money is complete transparency.
