Every year, CIMA offers academics and practitioners grants to undertake groundbreaking management accounting research through our programme of ad-hoc, seedcorn and topic specific funding initiatives.
In 2020 we are launching a two stage call for proposals on the following broad topics.
- The links between management accounting concerns and practices and contemporary developments in technology (e.g., big data, blockchain, social media, machine learning, artificial intelligence).
- The links between management accounting concerns and practices and contemporary developments in climate change reporting and sustainability.
In the first stage of the Call, which is now open, we will offer up to £7,500 of seedcorn funding to early career researchers and experienced researchers looking to conduct feasibility studies. Closing date Friday 28th August.
The second stage, open from July 1 will offer up to £30,000 to experienced researchers. Closing date is Friday 13 November.
