CIMA, The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, has published the pass rates* for the case study exams held in May 2015.
Students were most successful at the strategic case study exams, with 70% of entrants passing. Meanwhile the pass rate for the management case study has nearly doubled to 62%. The overall pass rate for the case study exams was 60%, showing considerable improvement compared to the February/March sitting.
Noel Tagoe, Executive Director of Education at CIMA, said: ‘We are pleased with the rise case study exam pass rates. The increase is due to students having more time to prepare as well as their increased understanding of the new case study format under the revised 2015 syllabus. We anticipate that pass rates will continue to rise over time.’
‘Our students should rightly feel proud of their achievements and I congratulate them on their success.’
