CIMA publishes May 2014 exam results

CIMA is delighted to announce its May 2014 exam results. Noel Tagoe, Executive Director, Education at CIMA, said:

“It is very pleasing to note that the pass rates for most papers have been maintained or have improved when compared with recent examination sessions, and in particular, there are excellent performances in papers E1, Enterprise Operations, and F2, Financial Management.”

“It is extremely pleasing to see that there are, as we have come to expect, some excellent student performances from around the world. This highlights CIMA’s ethos, that dedication and hard work can produce exemplary results. These results also show that the CIMA qualification is increasingly seen as a global passport to success. The proportion of students sitting the CIMA exams outside the UK continues to increase, with some excellent performances being demonstrated by the global prize-winners and commendees.”

Prize-winners and commendations in individual papers included students employed by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, J P Morgan and the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement, RWE npower plc, Shell International and Sotheby’s. Prize-winning students and commendees sat these exams across the globe, in China, Hungary, India, Poland, Sri Lanka and the UK.

Examination results letters include a breakdown of marks by question. This, together with the post exam guides, will provide students and tutors with valuable feedback.

All ten papers in the professional qualification will again be available in September 2014 in the UK. This will allow a resit opportunity for students with T4 part B Case Study on PC being available globally for students sitting for the first time as well as for those resitting.  The three strategic level papers will also continue to be available globally for resitting students.

Students have access to a wide range of free study support resources through the CIMAglobal.com website along with e-magazine Velocity.
