Pat has extensive NHS, Civil Service and Retail experience, especially in performance management to meet targets and achieve service improvements.
In the NHS, she assessed investment plans for new facilities/services; prepared briefings for Ministers and the media; led teams of between 2 and 20 internal staff and external consultants on projects to meet Government objectives.
At the Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, Pat worked on projects to create/ safeguard jobs in the UK, company law drafting, incorporating International Accounting Standards into English law, and creating the Community Interest Company form of incorporation.
Her retail experience was gained at Selfridges, the prestigious London department store, where she managed the Accounts office.
Formerly a Princes Trust Business Mentor, Pat now contributes to the work of The Thorney Island Society and project manages the South Westminster Community Choir. Her other interests include karate, yoga, and the theatre.
