Members of CA Sri Lanka who wish to become Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation holders are invited to enrol into this programme.

There are three entry routes:
- CA members with 5 years of relevant professional experience
Required to complete only 1 exam - CIMA Strategic Case Study exam
- CA members with less than 5 years of relevant professional experience
Required to complete 2 exams - CIMA Strategic Case Study exam and Risk Management exam
- CA members who do not possess the relevant professional experience
Required to complete 4 exams - CIMA Strategic Case Study exam and 3 exams at the CIMA Strategic level, along with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience
Relevant professional experience refers to the practical experience requirements specified by CIMA in obtaining CIMA membership and the CGMA designation.

Step 2 |
CIMA stringently reviews applications, conducts interviews where necessary and admits shortlisted candidates into the programme. |
Step 3 |
Candidate files application for CIMA membership before attempting the exam(s). |
Step 4 |
Candidate sits for the exam(s) |
Step 5 |
Award - CGMA and CIMA membership, upon passing the exam(s) and successful membership application. |
