Phyu Linn Kyaw’s secret to success and advice to students is:

• Study regularly, from the start of the series/subject.
• Practise past exam questions repeatedly in order to be familiar with the exam format.
• Time allocation is very important.
• Do not underestimate anything and do not be lazy.

She said: ‘After finishing my ACCA exams, I had a desire to study more and I found that CIMA is a great option as I can become a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). It took me just six months to prepare for the CIMA Professional Gateway exam.’

CGMA is an internationally recognised designation awarded by CIMA and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
