As most of you will be aware, in September 2020 we embarked on a series of Town Hall webinars. With the support of a subcommittee, made up of a group of CIMA Ireland Panel members, we committed to providing four valuable webinars, to discuss topical subjects, which are currently impacting our members.

We are grateful to have our webinars moderated by Bobby Kerr, Entrepreneur and Broadcaster, who professionally manages our guest panellists, to engage in interesting and informative discussions.

We want to thank all members of the subcommittee, both outgoing and current, for their contribution and commitment.  Coming from a diverse range of business sectors, this dynamic group of members has proven to be a source of valuable opinions and suggestions, to ensure relevant webinars, beneficial for you, their fellow members.

  • Margaret Healy – CIMA Ireland Chair
  • Sinead Dillon – Past CIMA Ireland Chair
  • Catherine McRory – CIMA Northern Ireland Chair
  • Kodzo Selormey – CIMA Southern Ireland Chair
  • Katie Burns – CIMA Eastern Ireland Chair
  • Dervla Geraghty – CIMA Western Ireland
  • James Flahavan – CIMA Southern Ireland Committee member
  • Sharon McCue – CIMA Northern Ireland Committee member
  • Eric Rochford – CIMA Southern Ireland Committee member

Although we hadn’t anticipated the need to host virtual events, before March 2020, we have now seen the benefit of this medium, by achieving attendance of both members and students from all four corners of Ireland, for the first series.  The added bonus of being able to record these events, has also allowed a flexibility for our members to watch them at their convenience, a valuable asset to our CPD offerings. The next webinar in the second series is scheduled for Thursday 18 November, where we will discuss the subject of Hybrid Working and how the pandemic is changing the future of work.

If you have missed any of our four Town Halls, you are welcome to watch the recordings at your convenience, links below:
