Please be aware that as of Monday 3rd April 2023 the ability to register as a new CIMA Candidate or re-activate your CIMA account has been suspended and will not be available until Tuesday 3rd May.
There will be a scheduled maintenance on Saturday, 1st of April at 17:30 BST to Sunday, 2nd of April at 9:00 BST. Users can still access MyCIMA to schedule or start an Exam but other MyCIMA services will not be available. Users will not be able access Study Planner, CGMA Store, CGMA.org, and Competency and Learning. In the meantime, we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Carmichael Seeks Assessors for the Good Governance Awards

The Good Governance Awards is an initiative that recognises and encourages adherence to good governance practice by nonprofits in Ireland, particularly in terms of annual reporting. The awards were developed by Carmichael with the support of our partners and leading national bodies in the nonprofit sector. Carmichael is seeking voluntary assessors to join the panel which conducts the initial assessment of each entry for the 2023 awards.

Brexit and the CIMA Professional Qualification 

The UK-EU trade deal does not impact the status of the CIMA Professional Qualification in the EU.

Existing recognition of professional qualifications between UK and Ireland will continue under the long-standing Common Travel Area arrangements between the UK, the Crown Dependencies and Ireland. UK and Irish regulators have worked together to ensure that this can continue post-Brexit, and we have confirmed with the Irish Auditing and Accounting Supervisory Authority (IAASA) that CIMA retains its status as a prescribed accountancy body (PAB), meaning that the CIMA Professional Qualification continues to be recognised in Ireland.
