South East Asia Regional Advisory Panel

We are pleased to inform you that Amal Ratnayake FCMA, CGMA is the new President of CIMA, effective from 1 June 2019. His Deputy is Nick Jackson FCMA, CGMA while Paul Ash FCMA, CGMA is the new Vice President. Francis Chan FCMA, CGMA will serve as a member in the CIMA Council, representing the SE Asia Region.

The SE Asia Regional Advisory Panel (RAP) has been constituted, under the governance of the Association, with members serving the Panel with effect from 1 June 2019. The RAP is formerly known as Regional Board.

As stipulated under the Terms of Reference for RAPs, the constitution of the Panel shall be 10 individuals, of which three members/students shall be elected. The elections for these three members/students have been concluded. The remaining individuals were nominated. The nominations were made by the Nominations MA Sub-Committee and approved by CIMA Council. The Regional Vice President is appointed as the RVP to the RAP and as committee secretary. 

Mr. Irwan Djaja ACMA, CGMA serves as the Chairman of the SE Asia RAP, with Y Bhg Dato Yogesvaran T Arianayagam FCMA, CGMA as the Vice-Chairman.

Heading the SEARB as chair is Ms Yasmin Mohd Ramzi FCMA, CGMA and Mr Szilard Brenner FCMA, CGMA as deputy chair. As stipulated by the SEARB’s terms of reference, both will hold office for a year from July 2017. The SEARB’s role is to oversee CIMA council’s strategy for the South East Asia markets. We look forward to a robust growth for CIMA in this region over the next few years.
