Dr Noel Tagoe

Executive Vice President – Academics at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.

Dr Tagoe oversees the formulation and implementation of the management accounting professional unit research strategy, the development of CIMA's qualifications and related assessments.

He was previously Head of Research and Development at CIMA.

Prior to joining CIMA Noel taught at University College Dublin (UCD) in Ireland and the Universities of Manchester, Reading and Oxford in England.

Between academic appointments he held senior accounting and strategy positions with BP and Elf Aquitaine (now part of Total Oil) in Africa. In addition, Noel established and led KPMG's financial advisory consulting practice in West Africa for 3 years.

Noel is a Chartered Accountant and a CGMA. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Ghana and postgraduate degrees from the Universities of Dundee and Oxford.

Mike Nyinaku

Mike is an award winning entrepreneur who is highly regarded as one of Ghana’s emerging business leaders.

He founded The BEIGE Group (TBG) in 2008 after a successful career as an accountant for 10 years.

TBG is a financial services provider with subsidiaries providing banking, insurance, pensions, investment, management and advisory services with over 5000 staff and total asset of GHS 2.5bn (USD 600 Million).

Beyond this, TBG has a private equity arm that actively invests in and promotes the development of small and medium sized enterprises of African origin including start-ups.

Mike has served OICI-GH, a US based NGO as a chief financial officer and Deloitte & Touché as a finance and audit specialist.

Stephen Berry

Author, Strategy of the Serengeti.

Stephen Berry, an esteemed Author and strategist, conference speaker, coach and trainer, popularly known for his book: Strategy of the Serengeti.

He is the former PLC financial director and international MBA lecturer in business strategy. His employment experience has been a in a wide variety of sectors including property construction and Fast Moving Consumer Goods.

Stephen Van Coller

Vice President: strategy, mergers and acquisitions at the MTN group.

Stephen is a Finance & investment guru, currently the VP: strategy, mergers and acquisitions at the MTN group where his experience is instrumental in helping the MTN group realise its ambitions to develop its participation in the enterprise sector and adjacent sectors such as financial, media, entertainment and education.

He is a member of MTN’s Group Executive Committee as well as well as the transformation board.

The former Barclays Africa Group CEO of Corporate & investment Bank, he also participates in the World Economic Forum where he sits on the committee responsible for shaping digital economy.

Andrew Harding


Chief Executive – Management Accounting at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants

Prior to this he was Chief Executive of CIMA as it joined forces with the AICPA to create the world’s most influential accountancy Association. He served as Managing Director of CIMA from 2011 to 2016 and was responsible for the institute’s operational performance. Andrew is a chartered global management accountant, a chartered accountant, and holds an MBA from Henley Business School. Prior to joining CIMA in 2009, Andrew worked for 17 years in professional body education, regulation and management. He is a keen musician and supporter of Queens Park Rangers F.C.

Leigh Roberts


Leigh is a well-known business journalist in South Africa. She is Currently a weekly anchor for Business Day TV (channel 412 on DSTV) and a weekly presenter of the African Business News shown on Sky International TV. She has previously worked for eNCA, CNBC Africa, SABC 3 and Sunday Times newspaper among others. 

Leigh is a CA(SA) by training and an expert on Integrated Reporting (IR), having been involved in developing the IR Reporting Framework and leading the IR Committee of South Africa.  She has also written a book with Mervyn King entitled Integrate: Doing Business in the 21st Century (Juta)


Collin Human

CA (SA) 

Colin is one of South Africa’s leading financial modellers, with extensive business experience. He is currently a director of a number of companies, and CEO of GoalFix (Pty) Ltd, a financial management consultancy, which operates specifically in the arena of building complex financial models using Excel and financial modelling training courses. Its services include all aspects of corporate finance, and corporate performance improvement, and corporate financial health assessments.
Colin has built numerous corporate financial models using Excel as the modelling platform and started his modelling activities in the early 80’s. 
In addition to his financial model building activities, Colin lectures both locally and internationally.

Lee Naik

Lee is the CEO of TransUnion Africa and is recognised as one of South Africa's leading digital and technology transformation experts.  He leads a portfolio of TransUnion’s businesses in using big data and information services to help consumers and organisations make more informed decisions. In his previous role, Lee spent almost 19 years at Accenture were he served as the Managing Director of Accenture Digital, helping organisations transform their businesses to remain competitive in an increasingly digital world. Prior to that Lee was the Managing Director of Accenture’s Technology Strategy business. Lee is a frequent speaker and commentator and was recognised as a global top 10 technology commentator in the 2015 LinkedIn Top Voices awards. He is also a recipient of the 2015 Standard Bank Rising Stars award.
