The CIMA Professional Qualification will now be titled the CGMA Professional Qualification. Andrew Harding, FCMA, CGMA and Chief Executive — Management Accounting describes the change as ‘opening doors to new opportunities’.
The CGMA syllabus will remain identical to the syllabus you experienced in CIMA’s Professional Qualification. Crucially, the CGMA designation remains a CIMA qualification.
Harding said, ‘The CGMA designation promotes strategic, managerial and financial leadership, opening doors to new opportunities for accounting and finance professionals across the world.’
