Finance partnering workshop

Future proof your career with this two day workshop that will focus on the skills and techniques that are essential to be an effective finance business partner.

The needs of businesses today are evolving and as a result so is the role of finance professionals, with the role of finance being extended to include finance business partnering.

Finance business partnering begins after standard reports and analysis have been produced. At this point the focus then shifts from accounting to management. This is when the disciplines of management accounting are applied in the business and insights developed to inform decisions and improve performance*.

Providing effective finance business partnering is still proving to be a challenge for many businesses. There are capacity constraints and accountants may not be recognised as having the business acumen or soft skills required. It is important that businesses and accountants address this challenge*.

To be an effective business partner accountants need to complement their technical skills with additional analytical skills, business understanding and emotional intelligence.

This two day workshop will build on the skills and techniques that are essential to be an effective finance business partner.  It will help you acquire a broad, strategic understanding of finance and accounting, organisational and management issues.
