CIMA funds appropriate research projects, conferences and CIMA professor Wim A Van der Stede.

We particularly welcome applications for projects of global relevance. However, we no longer sponsor ad hoc research proposals.

Research funding

CIMA has launched the 2010 research initiative. Please download the 'beyond recession' (PDF 146KB) initiative flyer for further details.

To apply for this research initiative please first read CIMA’s research strategy brochure (PDF 88KB) and then save and fill in the research grant application form (Word DOC 707KB) following the supporting guidance notes (PDF 68KB). Separate practitioner guidance notes (PDF 73KB) are available for any practitioners wishing to apply.

Please view CIMA's standard research contract (PDF 91KB) and ensure that your university is able to agree with the terms of the contract prior to submitting your application.   

Seedcorn research initiative will be relaunched in 2011. More information will be available on the website in early 2011.
