Are you stuck in side parting hell? get some relief on Red Nose Day

Today (Friday) is Comic Relief's Red Nose Day, themed Big Hair and Beyond. No doubt accountants across the UK are shedding their conservative image and reaching for the hairspray and crimping tongs.

Red Nose Day will have added poignancy this year as much of the money raised will go towards relief of the tsunami disaster in Asia . Two of the affected countries, Sri Lanka and Malaysia, have some of the largest populations of CIMA members and students outside the UK . We hope that Comic Relief can bring some much needed aid to all the countries affected by the disaster.

We want to know about all you accountants who are going to raise money for charity, whether it's backcombing your hair in the office, wearing silly noses, or any other activity. Please send us your stories and photos to the e-mail address below. In April 2003, Hannah Jones, a CIMA Foundation student, became something of a cult hero when she sent in a photo of her crazy pigtails hairdo to Insight. The story got the most hits ever. If you are stuck in side-parting hell and need some mad hair inspiration, go to mad March Hair.

Please send all your stories and photos to tim.cooper@cimaglobal.com. To find out how to get more involved, visit http://www.rednoseday.com/.
