CIMA NHS National Conference - Redesigning Healthcare Provision: The Challenge for Management
This high profile conference is organised by CIMA in association with BPP.
The modernisation of healthcare provision has triggered substantial and vigorous discussion on the key drivers of successful healthcare management. This high profile conference will provide a forum for all those involved in healthcare provision to discuss and debate the key issues. The attached programme gives details of topics and speakers.
'Re-designing Healthcare Provision' takes place at London's Royal Society of Arts on Friday 3 June 2005. It will examine how choice is important in developing a more responsive healthcare system. It will tackle the changing relationship between NHS providers and the independent and charitable sectors, and the introduction of tools and techniques such as balanced scorecards and lean operations.
A high profile range of speakers will provide attendees with the opportunity to 'plug in' to the most recent policy and practical initiatives dominating the new management agenda. In addition, attendees will have opportunity to review their own approach to management, and how it will need to evolve in the new healthcare economy.
'Re-designing Healthcare Provision' will be of particular interest to CEOs, Performance Directors, and Finance Directors in PCTs, Acute Trust, Mental Health Trusts, and in the independent and charitable sectors. However, everyone involved in implementing new healthcare initiatives will benefit from attending this platform for innovative thinking.
