Accounting Technicians Ireland

CIMA is the natural progression beyond Accounting Technicians Ireland.

Eager to progress your career as a financially qualified business leader and advance quickly? You already hold a recognised Accounting Technicians Ireland accounting qualification, which is an excellent starting point to a career in accountancy. But it needn’t stop there: you can build your skills and your career prospects with the CIMA professional qualification.

How is CIMA different?
Most accountancy qualifications train people for private practice, working on external audit and tax issues. CIMA is different. It’s rooted in real world business needs, preparing people like you to take your place in the action packed world of international business.

Become a chartered management accountant
Management accountants don’t fit the stereotype of number crunchers; in fact they are quite the opposite. Chartered management accountants are at the heart of all strategic decisions that are key to business success. They work out how much and how many and get results by looking at trends and behaviour. They operate in all types of organisations, often having top jobs, with many going on to run their own business.

Boost your earning potential
The CIMA qualification will build on your existing skills, making you more attractive to potential employers, improving your earning potential and enhancing your career prospects. Find out what CIMA students can expect to be paid by looking at the latest part qualified salary survey.

How much will it cost and where can I study?
Choose the best study option to suit your personal circumstances. You can attend classes part-time, during the evening or at weekends, or if you prefer to study from home you can do so via distance learning.

CIMA at a glance has all the critical information you will need on how much it costs, where you can study and how long it takes to complete the CIMA qualification.
