CCAB-I news and updates

The Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies – Ireland, (CCAB-I) is comprised of members from the main accountancy bodies in Ireland, including CIMA. The primary role of CCAB-I is to act as a representative voice for the main accountancy bodies, and to provide a forum in which matters affecting the profession as a whole can be discussed.

Criminal Justice Act 2011 - CCAB-I information sheet

CCAB-I have recently issued guidance for Members in Practice and in industry, in relation to reporting under The Criminal Justice Act 2011. The Act, which came into effect on 9 August 2011, outlines new procedures that will facilitate Garda to access to information that will assist in the investigation of white collar crime in particular.
