Welcome to GBC 2012 India

Last year, team Tatva from BITS Pilani – KK Birla, Goa Campus won the opportunity to represent India at the global final that took place in Chengdu, China.

How does the competition work?

Each team will have to go through a few stages before earning their rightful place at the global final, which will be held in Sri Lanka.

Stage one: report writing and submission
Seven teams will be shortlisted in the southern region to proceed to the regional final round.
Seven teams will be shortlisted in the western region to proceed to the regional final round.
Ten teams will be shortlisted in the northern/eastern region to proceed to the regional final round.

Stage two: regional finals
Winning team and runner up team at the southern regional final will proceed to the India final.
Winning team and runner up team at the western regional final will proceed to the India final.
Winning team, first runner up team and second runner up team at the northern and eastern regional finals will proceed to the India final.

Stage three: India final
The winning team at the India final will proceed to the global final.

Stage four: Global final
The GBC global final will be held on 23- 24 July 2012 in Sri Lanka.

Prizes for the India final

The winning team will win a trip to Sri Lanka to represent their university and India at the GBC 2012 global final.

Prizes will be awarded to winners at regional levels as well as global level.

Winning team:

  • A chance to represent India in the global final in Sri Lanka
  • Gift vouchers worth Rs 25000
  • Team trophy
  • Certificate to individual team members.

Runner up team:

  • Gift vouchers worth Rs 15000
  • Certificate to individual team members.

Best speaker:

  • Gift vouchers worth Rs 5000.
  • Certificate

Best business report:

  • Gift vouchers worth Rs 2500.
