Welcome to GBC 2012 Ghana

The GBC is being held in Ghana for the first time this year. You could be the first ever team to represent Ghana at the global final.

How does the competition work?

Each team will have to go through a few stages before earning a place at the global final in Sri Lanka.

Stage one: report writing and submission
From four to six teams will be shortlisted to proceed to the Ghana final.

Stage two: Ghana final
The winning team will proceed to the global final.

Stage three: global final
The GBC global final will be held on 23- 24 July 2012 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

How to submit your GBC report

All reports must be produced in accordance with the required format.

Submission method

Prizes for the Ghana final

The winning team will win a trip to Sri Lanka to represent their university and country / region at the GBC 2012 global final.

Prizes will also be awarded to winners at the local level as well as global level.

Winning team

  • a chance to represent Ghana in the global final in Sri Lanka
  • GHC 2000 cash.

First runner up team

  • GHC1500 cash.

Second runner up team

  • GHC1000 cash.

Third runner up team

  • GHC800 cash.

Fourth runner up team

  • GHC500 cash.

All teams will receive a certificate of participation.
