Welcome to GBC 2012 Bangladesh

Last year, team NFSS from the University of Dhaka represented Bangladesh at the global final in Chengdu, China.

How does the competition work?

Each team will have to go through a few stages before earning a place at the global final in Sri Lanka.

Stage 1: Report writing and submission
Four to six teams will be shortlisted to proceed to the Bangladesh final.

Report submission deadline: 13th March 2012

Shortlisted participants name announcement: 15th April 2012

Presentation material submission: 15th May 2012 

Stage 2: Bangladesh final
Winning team will proceed to the global final

Date: 25th May 2012 

Stage 3: Global final
The GBC global final will be held on 23- 24 July 2012 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Report submission:

Your report must be submitted as per the following instruction:

• Electronic copy of your report must be sent to bangladesh@cimaglobal.com
• 1 printed copy of your report must sent to the CIMA Bangladesh office, address detail in the right column of the page.

Prizes for the Bangladesh final

The winning team will win a trip to Sri Lanka to represent their university and country / region at the GBC 2012 global final.

Prizes will also be awarded to winners at the local level as well as global level.

Winning team

• A chance to represent Bangladesh in the global final in Sri Lanka
• BDT60,000 cash.

First runner up team

• BDT50,000 cash.

Second runner up team

• BDT40,000 cash.

Best business report

• BDT15,000 cash.

Best presentation materials

• BDT15,000 cash.

Best speaker

• BDT10,000 cash.
