IFRS - key issues for the public sector - introduction

Government departments, NHS bodies and local authorities are already required (or will shortly be required) to prepare their accounts under IFRS. This introductory level one day course is designed specifically for accountants who want a greater understanding of IFRS and the potential impact that it will have on their public sector organisations.

It will focus on taking you through all the big changes in IFRS compared to UK GAAP and then focus on those that will specifically affect those working in the public sector. No prior knowledge of IFRS is assumed.

The speaker will be drawn from a pool of subject specialists who are qualified professionals. Having worked for leading organisations they will bring thier subject to life by relating the course content to real life case studies.
