Government departments, NHS bodies and local authorities are already required (or will shortly be required) to prepare their accounts under IFRS. This introductory level one day course is designed specifically for accountants who want a greater understanding of IFRS and the potential impact that it will have on their public sector organisations.

It will focus on taking you through all the big changes in IFRS compared to UK GAAP and then focus on those that will specifically affect those working in the public sector. No prior knowledge of IFRS is assumed.
