Financial accountants and controllers involved in preparing consolidated financial statements that comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
The course will benefit those with a good working knowledge of the basics of IFRS, which can be gained from IFRS - introduction.

Outline
This two-day course examines some of the more challenging areas faced by entities adopting IFRS. It will focus primarily on the standards dealing with group issues, employee benefits, share-based payments and deferred tax. An introduction to accounting for financial instruments is also given.
The course is practical in nature and draws on real-life examples and case studies.
Each day of the programme starts at 9.30am and ends at 4.30pm. Lunch and refreshments are provided. It is non-residential.
