Harvard ManageMentor Plus version 3 brings great new features
Skills resource now includes more functionality and content.
Our CPD department has just released a significant upgrade of the Harvard ManageMentor Plus, the management skills resource. To add to its practical information and advice on over 35 key management topics, HMM’s version 3 has more functionality. This includes:
- A new find feature - users can search an index across the entire program and find text and tools using a quick keyword feature.
- A new flash demo - first-time users can get a quick overview of the product to orient themselves and understand how they can best use HMM.
- New user-friendly features - including editable PDF tools, single-click printing, Harvard Business Review (HBR) articles in a more attractive PDF format, and choice of tools in former tool format or editable PDF format.
Version 3 also has more content. This includes:
- Double the number of articles per topic - one from HBR and one from a Harvard Business School Publishing newsletter.
- 24 new tools - to help users apply content to action.
- Editorial updates throughout the program - all 37 topics have been reviewed and enhanced, while 17 topics have had significant updates. New content has been added, some older content deleted, and content rewritten to increase user understanding.
- More sections - references have been reviewed and updated. Direct access paths to Harvard Business Online have been added so that users can browse or search for more information.
Topic Watch
CIMA has also customised HMM for its members by adding Topic Watch (supplied by Bridge2think), a bank of articles about each subject that you click on in the resource. After accessing HMM, click on the subject you want to learn about, click 'To learn more' and click the Bridge2think logo.
