Welcome to CIMA Degree Links
Introducing a new CIMA site dedicated to promoting a range of fast track degree opportunities available to CIMA students and members, developed in collaboration with the UK Committee of Heads of Accounting.
This facility is designed to link CIMA students and members with participating universities.
This directory of degree opportunities lists universities, principally in the UK, which:
- recognise the CIMA Advanced Diploma for partial exemption from undergraduate degrees,
- recognise CIMA membership for partial exemption from Master's degree programmes.
To view details of the range of degree programmes which grant partial exemption (often known as 'advanced standing') to CIMA students and members click Search.
The extent of the partial exemption (termed 'credits') granted for the Advanced Diploma or for ACMA/FCMA status varies by institution and by programme. Tuition modes also vary from programme to programme and include full time, part time and distance learning options as well as programmes requiring only limited attendance. For both credit and tuition details click Search.
Designed to be a 'living' directory of opportunities, while this site currently comprises largely UK institutions, opportunities outside of the UK are listed at the University of Lille, France and Deakin University, Australia. Further UK and non UK opportunities will be added as more institutions come on board.
For details of UK degree structures and for an explanation of the UK credit system select UK Degree Structure.
For more details on listed programmes use the hyperlinks to visit the university website or email the course contact at the address shown in the directory.
Notes :
- Information listed has been provided by the named institution. Each institution is responsible for keeping CIMA informed of relevant changes to the programmes listed.
- Each university sets its own policy regarding the award of credits for prior qualifications. CIMA does not influence these policies.
- CIMA's involvement is confined to the promotion of course as notified to CIMA by the relevant institution. All enquiries regarding degree programmes must be directed to the course contact listed in the directory. CIMA is not able to respond to any such queries.
