Professional qualifications accelerated route

If you are studying for or have successfully completed a relevant qualification with another body, you may be eligible for exemptions from some CIMA exams if your qualification is listed on our CIMA accredited programmes database.

Please make sure that you completed or studied in the years stated on the database, and took any required modules. We will not award you the listed exemptions if you did not complete in the specified years, or did not complete the required modules.

We will not exempt you from any of the CIMA papers if your professional qualification is not listed in our database.

Please note that exemptions are a concession and are only awarded at CIMA's discretion.

ICWAI accelerated route
If you are qualified with the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) you can seek entry to CIMA through the CPGA accelerated route.
