Research funding

CIMA invites researchers to submit funding proposals under the following headings:

Research projects
Research conferences / seminars / workshops
Visiting Professors

We have a generous budget to support these activities, but before applying researchers should read the research strategy (PDF 366KB).

Applications for sponsorship or research funding can be made at any time during the year on an ad hoc basis or in direct response to calls for papers under research initiatives.

Research Projects

Complete the project funding application form (DOC 66KB) with reference to the supporting guidance notes (PDF 74KB) or the guidance notes for practitioners (PDF 96KB).

Please view our standard research contract (PDF 95KB) to discuss the matter with the finance office at your institution prior to submitting an application.

Research conferences / seminars / workshops
Alternatively, complete the event funding application form (DOC 54KB), referring to the supporting guidance notes (PDF 74KB).
