CIMA regards your security when paying online with the highest importance. That's why we will be implementing Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode later this year.
If you are not already registered with these services when the system is implemented, you will be prompted to do so on the first occasion that you make a payment on our website using Visa or MasterCard. The technology is called 3-D Secure and it works like Chip and PIN, except you choose a password instead of a 4-digit number, which you will then be asked to enter every time you pay a bill online.
Registering takes less than a minute, and you only have to do it once - your password will work for all online retailers who use Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode.
