You can start the CIMA qualification after studying at university. Find out more about studying CIMA (PDF 536KB) and what it could do for your career.

Exemptions

You may even find that you're entitled to exemptions from our entry-level Certificate in Business Accounting if you've studied a relevant qualification like accounting, economics, business, finance, law, management, mathematics or science.

Be sure to check with course leaders to find out if choosing certain modules will exempt you from our entry-level requirements.

Work experience

Relevant work experience while you are at university will give you a distinct advantage in your employment prospects. Your work experience could also count towards CIMA's three years' relevant practical experience requirements.
