CIMA membership for HKICPA members
In September 2006, CIMA and HKICPA signed a mutual examinations paper exemptions agreement (PDF 76KB). The agreement provides routes for CIMA and HKICPA members to achieve each other's qualification.
For HKICPA members wishing to also become a CIMA member, you need only sit CIMA's Paper 3, Risk and Control Strategy and then TOPCIMA, and also satisfy CIMA's practical experience requirement.
All exemption fees have been waived for HKICPA members, which is a saving of over $11,000.
