Being a member
CIMA membership provides accountants with professional status and credibility. Once a CIMA student has completed all three levels of the CIMA Professional Qualification (Managerial level, Strategic level and the final Test of Professional Competence in Management Accounting (TOPCIMA) exam) they become a passed finalist and can apply for full membership. Applicants will also need to demonstrate three years relevant experience, although this can often be achieved while studying with CIMA.
Existing members can apply for CIMA fellowship if they possess the relevant senior, strategic experience.
A wide range of specific membership benefits are also available to CIMA members. These are primarily focused on continuing professional development and supporting members in their careers.
