How to study

This area contains important information to help you choose how you will study for your CIMA exams.

Hundreds of colleges across the world offer CIMA courses. Our CIMA Learning quality assurance scheme identifies which colleges we have assessed and have met all of our key performance indicators.

Whether you opt for a formal class-based tuition provider or a distance learning programme, registering for a course of study has many advantages. It will:

  • make sure you get feedback on your progress
  • provide you with the benefit of lecturers experienced with CIMA studies
  • offer you the opportunity to meet and share your experiences with other CIMA students
  • improve your chances of success in the exams.

For more information on colleges in your area, please view the College List.

We expect students to study for a minimum of three to four months before sitting any paper for the professional qualification.
