By focusing on the students' learning experience, CIMA has developed the CIMA Learning scheme based on standards to ensure success in terms of the quality of:
- results achieved by students
- student satisfaction levels
- student retention within the course
- learning support and marketing
Aims of the scheme
The scheme aims to support tutors by focusing on key aspects of the CIMA Learning matrix - namely teaching, learning and review, in order to provide quality tuition to students.
We've established, and will maintain and continuously improve, the quality assurance framework which upholds benchmark standards within the CIMA Learning matrices for CIMA tuition providers, encouraging and disseminating good practice. CIMA reserve the right to alter the scheme where necessary.
(Please note that the accreditation of computer based assessment (CBA) centres is separate from the CIMA Learning scheme).
Course providers
CIMA has partners across the world teaching the CIMA syllabus to students. To make sure that our partners meet the standards that CIMA has set, CIMA Learning monitors providers' course provision. The CIMA Learning scheme is designed to assure and improve the quality of CIMA courses, whether these are taught regularly in class, through distance learning or even revision classes.
