Sustainability
Sustainability is now a major business issue. CIMA intends to focus on this area to help members integrate sustainability issues into their organisations’ strategy and day to day operations. Our first step is a call to action in relation to climate change.
Climate change
Climate change calls for strategic change (PDF 217 KB) highlights why you should adapt your strategy now, to embed climate change issues into normal business life before it is too costly or too late.
We propose ten actions that your organisation can put in place to help you drive sustainable performance with regard to climate change.
Excellence in Leadership
The sixth edition of CIMA's Excellence in Leadership series is all about responsible business, including several informative articles on sustainability.

Managing responsible business
CIMA have teamed up with the Institue of Business Ethics to produce a new report (PDF 2.44 MB) that explores the debate on corporate responsibility and business ethics. The survey found the majority of respondents agree that business has a moral obliation to help address global issues such as climate change and poverty. Many also believe that environmental impact is of growing importance and that it is an issue that companies cannot afford to ignore.
We continue to develop our work in this area and will be updating this page, so bookmark it to revisit again soon.
