November exams – essential information

The November 2009 exams will be held on 24, 25 and 26 November. See the full exam timetable for exam days and times for each subject.

Online entry for the November exams has now closed.

Admission advice letters

If you entered for exams online you can print off your admission advice online from mid October.

You must take the admission advice with you to all your exams and keep it safely afterwards, as it contains your candidate numbers. The admission advice shows the exact details of your exam centre, as well as the exams you are entered for. It may contain specific instructions about the exam venue so make sure you know exactly where you are going before the big day.

Exam rules

You must download and read the exam rules from the website when you download your admission advice.

Going to the exam

As well as your admission advice you will need to bring another form of identification to the exam hall such as a passport or driving licence. This should show your photograph, name and signature.

Attendance slips

You must complete an attendance slip before starting each exam. The attendance slip has a tear off section which you should take away and retain. This will be your receipt of attendance of the exam and is valid for four months from the date of the exam.

Sitting TOPCIMA?

If you are sitting TOPCIMA you can now download the pre-seen material for the November 2009 exam.

You should analyse the pre-seen material and familiarise yourself with it before the exam. You can’t take notes into the exam so a clean copy of the pre-seen material and assessment matrix will be given to you on the day.

To help you prepare for the exam, articles analysing the pre-seen material are available online.

Question papers

You cannot take question papers out of the exam hall. The November papers will be available immediately after the exams.

Your exam results

The results from the November exams will be sent out at the end of January 2010. You can register to receive your results by email in your MY CIMA account.
