November exam dates and deadlines
The next exams will be held on 23, 24 and 25 November 2010.
Online entry for this sitting opened on Monday 2 August - enter by logging into your 'My CIMA’ account.
The standard closing date for entry into the November exams is 5pm BST Tuesday 14 September. If you enter after this date you will have to pay an additional late entry fee. The late entry deadline is 5pm BST Tuesday 21 September.
Exam fees
You must pay your exam fees online when you enter: operational and management levels - £72 per subject; strategic level - £77 per subject; T4 part B case study examination - £98 (on paper) or £140 (on PC).
Cancellations and changes
We do not accept cancellations and will not refund fees.
To change papers or exam centres you must email exam.changes@cimaglobal.com and pay a fee:
- £30 before 5pm on 14 September.
- £60 between 5pm on 14 September and 5pm on 21 September
- £80 after 21 September, in exceptional cases only.
Pre-seen material – T4 part B case study and strategic level papers
The pre-seen material for the September and November 2010 T4 part B case study exams can now be downloaded here.
The pre-seen material applying to all three strategic level papers (E3, F3 and P3) can be downloaded here six weeks before the November exams.
It is your responsibility to download the pre-seen material, analyse and familiarise yourself with it. A ‘clean’ copy of the pre-seen and further unseen material will be given to you in the exam. You cannot take any notes into the exam.
F1 financial operations and F2 financial management
Information on the relevant tax rules and examinable standards is available to download from the study resources webpage for each paper.
September 2010 exam results
The results for the September T4 part B case study and September resit pilot scheme exams will be sent out by first class post or airmail on Thursday 23 September 2010.
You can register online by 16 September 2010 to receive your results by email. Log into your 'My CIMA’ account and select ‘My personal details’ then ‘My communication preferences’.
We cannot give out results on the telephone or to personal callers at any CIMA office.
Attendance slip receipts
You will have received an attendance slip for each exam you sat. The slips are confirmation of your exam attendance. You should keep them for at least four months after the exams as proof of your sitting.
Exam question papers
The May 2010 exam papers and model answers are now available to download free through your MyCIMA account. The September 2010 resit pilot scheme exam papers will be available in early September, with the model answers following in October.
How did it go? Post exam guides
Post exam guides for each of the professional qualification subjects are now available to download through your ‘My CIMA’ account, under ‘exam guides’ on the relevant page for each subject.
These are essential reading for unsuccessful candidates and for those studying a new subject, and contain:
- the exam questions
- the rationale for each exam question
- the suggested approach to answering each question
- the outline marking scheme
- the examiners’ comments.
Strategic level and TOPCIMA script review service
A script review service is available for the three strategic level subjects and the T4 case study exam.
The service is only available if you received between 40 and 49 marks in the paper (strategic level) or between 20 and 24 credits (T4 case study) for which you want a script review.
Administrative review service
An administrative review service is available for all operational, management and strategic level papers.
