Robert Jelly FCMA, CGMA, executive director of CIMA education, is hosting an important event on behalf of CIMA’s education directorate to investigate the broadening arena of management accounting curricula, teaching, learning, delivery and assessment in the global market. PQ Magazine will be reporting on outcomes.
CIMA is committed to improving learning, teaching and assessment outcomes for our students. Working in partnership with our stakeholders, the global agenda is to strive continuously towards developing best practice.
This event will be the first of a series of global events to improve management accounting learning and teaching, generally in HE and the professions and, in particular, the student perception and approach to P1 and P2 papers in the CIMA qualification.
This initial event will be held on 22 February 2012 in Chapter Street between 10am and 4pm GMT. We are enlisting our higher education and private partners’ invaluable help in an attempt to tackle this critical issue. We will have a range of speakers and facilitators and the participants will be drawn from key public and private education providers.
