Blogs, networking, discussion forums and more are now at the fingertips of CIMA members around the world with the launch of CIMAsphere.
CIMAsphere is an up-to-date virtual community where practicing and aspiring management accounts can connect, share advice and expertise, and tap into the knowledge of fellow community members. It is now being piloted exclusively for members and students.
In addition to over eight discussion boards – covering everything from strategic management and economics, to financial reporting and business ethics – a team of in-house experts are writing blogs on the technical, business and policy issues relevant to members.
Join a group
You can also join and suggest groups, with each group hosting discussions, events, documents and news stories. Groups for ‘Managing in the downturn’, CIMA Professional Development and Members in Practice are already up and running. In turn, you can ask the community a question on ‘Community answers’, the open Q&A section.
The site allows you to upload a picture, include biographical details on your profile, search the community member directory, and set up email alerts for blogs and discussions you want to follow.
CIMAsphere will launch publicly in the summer, when anyone will be able read it and join the community.
