Essentials of personal effectiveness for accountants

June 2009

Develop your networking, motivational, assertiveness and coaching skills

Attend either half day workshop for the recession-beating price of £95 + VAT (including refreshments and lunch) or attend both for £150 + VAT and save £40 + VAT.

Who will benefit

All accountants and other managers will gain great value through these interactive half day workshops in which you’ll learn, develop and practise new approaches. The practical techniques and real day-to-day scenarios shared will equip you to take on work challenges with a newfound personal confidence.

What you can gain

In order to work successfully in a business, an accountant must also be effective as a manager.

A manager gets things done through others but requesting action is not enough - managers must also be persuasive communicators. Having an idea is simple, compared with implementing it. In many situations, managers must rely upon their powers of persuasion and motivation (rather than on executive authority). It does not matter how good you are technically, nor how hard you work, success only comes when you are able to assert themselves.

Choose a half day workshop to help you either use networking and motivational techniques to stand out, or gear up your coaching and assertiveness skills. Or book on both to gain the whole toolkit.

Clare Haynes, Director, Wildfire
