Certificate in business acccounting award
By completing the CIMA certificate in business acccounting, you can gain the letters CIMA Cert BA after your name.
Professional qualification awards
There are two intermediate awards students can receive whilst studying for the CIMA 2010 professional qualification:
- CIMA diploma in management accounting (gained by passing operational level, and which allows you to use the letters CIMA Dip MA after your name).
- CIMA advanced diploma in management accounting (gained by passing management level, and which allows you to use the letters CIMA Adv Dip MA after your name).
If you completed the operational and management levels during the same exam session, you will receive the CIMA advanced diploma in management accounting.
Certificates confirming you have passed and can use your letters are sent out four times a year (following each announcement of exam results), and can be expected approximately six weeks after the release of exam results.
Please note that you must have sat at least one of a level's examinations to qualify for the certificate for that level: if the level was completed wholly by exemptions you are not entitled to the document.
If you do not receive your certificate within six months, please contact us immediately and we will send you a duplicate.
If you do not receive your certificate and do not contact us within six months, you will be charged for a duplicate (see the latest fee for this).
Please send all requests for duplicates to CIMA contact:
