Professional competence
The test of professional competence (T4) consists of two parts.
Practical experience (T4 part A)
T4 part A is an assessment of work based practical experience. You must have a minimum three years of relevant experience and will be assessed based on the record in your career profile

Professional competence exam (T4 part B)
T4 part B consists of one three-hour exam based on a case study of pre-seen and un-seen material.

Applying for membership
Once you have passed your T4 part B exam and feel you have achieved relevant experience then you can submit your application for membership. We will assess your experience and either grant you the letters ACMA and CGMA, or defer your membership.
