CIMA's first regional event webinar
CIMA East Midlands' prestigious lecture, 'When to switch from defence to prospecting', will be the first regional event to be available via webinar. CIMA members and students from around the UK who can't attend in person can log on and send questions live to the panel. If you can't make the live showing then the webinar will be available to watch later.
A panel of eminent speakers will be discussing, in a Question Time format, how businesses are coping in the current climate and what the potential is for moving out of recession. The event is being held by the East Midlands region at the University of Leicester on Tuesday 14 September.

CIMA introduces new pricing
CIMA wants to give students and professionals around the world every opportunity to succeed in their career.
We’ve lowered our entry price from £150 to £60. All new students will now have their first subscription fee waived, saving £90 upon registration.

New members' celebration
CIMA’s most recent new members' celebration was held in London on 24 June 2010 at the Royal Geographical Society. The event was a success, celebrating the transition into CIMA membership for over 200 CIMA students.
In total there were 500 guests in attendance, including CIMA’s 80,000th UK member, Paul Keane from Coca-Cola Enterprises UK Ltd. After being congratulated personally by George Glass, the CIMA president, the guests enjoyed spending the evening networking in the late afternoon sunshine, with spectacular views of the Royal Albert Hall.
