2013 CIMA Global Business Challenge regional finalists announced
After months of preparing reports and nervously awaiting the results, we are pleased to announce the four 2013 CIMA Global Business Challenge Poland finalist teams:
- Blue Penguins – University of Warsaw
- Hawik – Warsaw School of Economics
- Invenio – Cracow University of Economics
- Safari Lovers – Wroclaw University of Economics
The final will be held on Wednesday 12 June in Warsaw where these teams will battle it out to become the Poland champions and win lots of fantastic prizes.
Good luck to all the finalists and congratulations to anyone who submitted a report.

CIMA supplement in national Polish newspaper
Read a Polish supplement published in Rzeczpospolita on 29 October 2012 (PDF 808KB). New CBA centres introduced across Poland
In October 2012 CIMA introduced new certificate level exam centres across the world. As well as the existing CIMA preferred centres, students can now sit papers C01-C05 at Pearson Vue centres worldwide, which means there are more centres for you to choose from.
Congratulations to the Business Warriors!
The winning team from the Poland 2012 Global Business Challenge final, Business Warriors, took part in the global final in Sri Lanka on 23-24 July to compete for the title of global champions against 21 other regional teams.
They were placed in the top six - congratulations!
CIMA Polska Facebook page launched
CIMA recently launched a Polish language Facebook page and we already have over 300 fans!

CIMA Global Business Challenge 2012 Poland final result announced
The GBC 2012 Poland final was held on Tuesday 5 June 2012 at Deloitte House in Warsaw. The winning team, Business Warriors, will now represent Poland in the global final in Sri Lanka and compete for the title of GBC 2012 global champion.

Video of Warsaw roundtable discussion on business partnering
The aim of this roundtable event was to identify organisational best practice in order to ensure independence and integrity is maintained and safeguarded in areas such as recruitment, reporting lines, development, and support structures.
The discussion focused on sharing experiences and exchanging views on the role of business partners in the business world, as well as the independence and objectivity of the finance function and its professionals. It was attended by senior representatives from Unilever, Shell, BAT, Prologis and Accenture.

CIMA opens first office in Poland
Current and future CIMA students and members can now benefit from a new CIMA office in Warsaw, Poland. The CIMA office is located at Emilii Plater 53 in the Warsaw Financial Centre, and will be open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
