CIMA Kenya is hosting an a half-day workshop for its members and students. The day will cover the following:

1. Early morning - the early morning shall be dedicated to discussing 'performance management'

2. Late morning - the late morning shall be dedicated to discussing 'unlocking the value of supply chain'

All sessions are meant to be as interactive as possible.

We shall have a networking lunch immediately after the presentations.

Your speaker

Malcolm Furber FCMA, FInstD, FCMI, MSAIM
Malcolm has served in many different business spheres including senior financial manager at Afrox where he implemented activity based costing. In 1997 he headed up a global project for Afrox’s parent company, the BOC group, on productivity measurement and improvement programme management.

He has been heavily involved in operations and supply chain management in the establishment of performance improvement and measurement programmes which included ABC, ABM, value driver analysis and balanced scorecards.

He currently has his own consulting business where he has predominantly been involved in business improvement assignments and SAP developments in the public sector.

Malcolm is CIMA’s elected council representative for east, west, central and southern Africa. He has served on many CIMA committees and is currently chairman of its marketing committee. He has been involved in CIMA’s last four qualification reviews and was an initiator in its computer based assessment methodology for its certificate level and the development of the case study paper at the final level. He is a membership assessor and a member of the membership board.
