CIMA have developed key agreements with some of Australia's (and the world's) top universities to deliver Master's programmes that match the CIMA syllabus quite closely and offer high level exemptions against the CIMA syllabus.
For those individuals who hold an MBA or Master's in Accounting not listed above, please refer to the standard Master's Gateway.
From 2016 CIMA formally recognises the value of TAFE qualifications across Australia. Graduates holding a TAFE Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Accounting will be awarded exemptions off the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting. Further University qualifications are not a pre-requisite.

In 2016 CIMA has reviewed accreditation arrangements with a large number of Australia and New Zealand universities. This results in an accelerated route to the CIMA Professional Qualification and the global professional designation of Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
