Speaker Details

The speaker will be drawn from a pool of qualified professionals, who specialise in this subject. Having worked for leading organisations they will relate the course content to real life case studies.

Outline

Techniques to enable you to:

  • review and understand the objectives of a mentoring process from the organisational, mentor's and mentee's perspective
  • appreciate the roles and responsibilities of mentoring relationships
  • grasp the four stages of the mentoring relationship
  • establish and agree the mentoring ground rules and psychological contract
  • understand and work with diversity in a mentoring relationship
  • enable the mentee to develop meaningful career goals and objectives
  • develop your mentoring skills, including sensory acuity, rapport and relationship management techniques
  • give and receive constructive and meaningful feedback.

The course starts at 9.30am and ends at 5.00pm on both days. Lunch and refreshments are included.
