Cranfield offers MBA scholarship to CIMA Members

19 July 2005

Cranfield University School of Management is offering members of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) scholarships towards their MBA programme fees.

Séan Rickard, newly appointed MBA Recruitment Director at Cranfield, said that, 'studying for an MBA is not cheap and in view of the value we place on broadening the student cohort we are prepared to offer any CIMA candidates, who meet our entry requirements, a scholarship toward tuition fees.'

This represents a huge benefit to CIMA members with this opportunity for promising managers to study at one of the country's best management schools. Robert Jelly, CIMA Director of Education, said 'CIMA very much welcomes this very generous support offered to our members should they wish to further develop their managerial and leadership skills on one of the UK's top MBA programmes. CIMA, as the world's leading provider of professional qualifications focused solely on accountants in business and the public sector, supports increasing links between CIMA and leading MBA programmes in the provision of CPD for our members.'
