Terms and conditions

As a professional institute, we have to answer to our members so please read this overview of our terms and conditions. A more detailed document can be supplied on request to all new and existing clients.

The primary criterion is that the recruitment campaign, publication, software package or business service being advertised must be relevant to members and students in their professional (or student) capacity as accountants. CIMA reserves the right to decline to undertake mailings that conflict with this, or with institute activities or promotions.

CIMA should in no way be represented as sponsoring or endorsing the product of a company using the service. Brand advertising is not allowed. Use of the mailing service does not in any way indicate the institute's approval or disapproval of the goods and services offered.

All copy must be submitted to CIMA for approval. CIMA reserves the right to reject or ask for changes to copy that does not comply with its policy.

Restrictions may apply at certain times of the year. In particular, no mailings will be undertaken during the 10 days prior to the publication of examination results.
